The Vertical covering machine is designed with positively driven spindle lapping heads to apply single/double or triple covering. All spinners are driven independent of each other by individual motor. The lapping percentage can be varied by change gears. Clutch is provided for engaging and disengaging the drive from the capstan gearbox. The reeling arrangement is fixed by traverse.
